Nigerian-Ugandan British artist Ms Banks has released her highly anticipated debut album, “SOUTH LDN LOVER GIRL,” a 14-track project that blends hip-hop, Afrobeats, and Amapiano while exploring vulnerability and her South London roots.

The album, which dropped March 13, marks the rapper’s most personal work to date.

Prior singles built momentum throughout early 2026, including the title track released in February, which captures the duality of strength and softness among South London women. “NO LOVE,” featuring Tiggs Da Author, arrived as a street anthem accompanied by a visualizer on March 16.

Other standout tracks include “WHY?,” addressing misogynoir and personal insecurities, and “4C,” a celebration of Black womanhood released in late 2025.

The album features collaborations with Zinoleesky, Layyah, and Strandz across its rich tracklist.

Ms Banks will embark on the South LDN Lover Girl Tour beginning April 10 in Amsterdam, wrapping with a hometown show at London’s Islington Assembly Hall on April 23.

The debut solidifies her place as a distinctive voice bridging UK rap and Afrobeats.
