At a grand state reception in Abuja, the Vice President announced that each player will receive $100,000, a national honour, and a plot of land, recognizing their remarkable feat and unwavering dedication.

This gesture echoes the recent rewards given to the Super Falcons, who were similarly honoured by President Bola Tinubu after winning the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
