In a heartfelt video shared from Malaysia, Miss Nigeria Tourism 2025, Stella Olamide Abiodun, made an emotional plea to Nigerians at home and abroad to rally behind her as she represents the nation at the Miss Tourism International World Finals, holding on October 18, 2025.
With a soft voice but fierce conviction, Stella opened up about the incredible challenge she faced preparing for the pageant in record time:
“I had to prepare for this journey in less than two weeks — less than 14 days. From my visa application to paperwork, wardrobe, everything. It took so much from me, so much from my organization.”
Despite the hurdles, her spirit remains unbroken. She believes passionately in her mission to bring home the international crown — but she needs her people behind her.
“I stand a very big chance of bringing this crown home. But I can’t do that if I don’t make it to the top 10 in the monetary votes. It’s $4 per vote — about ₦6,000 — and I need your help, your support, your money, your votes.”
The 1st runner-up at the 18th Beauty of Africa International Pageant (BAIP) Nigeria 2025, held in Bayelsa, Stella embodies perseverance that defines the modern Nigerian woman. Her international journey began on October 3, joining other global delegates for pre-event activities leading up to the grand finale in Malaysia.
Her words struck a chord, a mixture of vulnerability and strength, echoing the sacrifices many young Nigerians make while chasing excellence beyond borders. In her plea lies not just a request for votes, but a reminder of the collective pride that unites a nation.
“For me to bring home this crown, I need Nigerians with me. We need to go all out.”
Stella Abiodun’s journey is the quintessential Nigerian success story; one of resilience, sacrifice, and the relentless pursuit of excellence against steep odds. She overcame a two-week deadline to be there, and now she is standing on the global stage, waiting for her people to lift her to the top.
The Miss Tourism International title is an opportunity to amplify Nigeria’s rich culture, vibrant heritage, and irresistible appeal to the world. A vote for Stella is not merely a vote for a queen; it is a vote for Brand Nigeria, the Giant of Africa.
To every Nigerian at home and abroad, Abiodun has done her part. She is ready to bring the crown home. The final push is now up to us. Let the global Nigerian spirit, renowned for its generosity and unity in purpose, answer her call.
