Born and raised in Northern Nigeria, she represented Katsina State at the national finale but emphasises a broader identity that also connects her to the North Central region.

Suleiman has been active in community advocacy for more than a decade, and she frames the Miss Naija platform as an operational vehicle for social change rather than a ceremonial title.

Her advocacy rests on four pillars.

Healthcare awareness, including breast cancer initiatives aimed at early detection and treatment for women in low-resource settings.

Menstrual equity, fighting period poverty and pushing for affordable, accessible sanitary products so young girls do not miss school.

Combating sexual and gender-based violence, with a focus on strengthening support systems for survivors.

And political empowerment, working to defeat political apathy among women and push for more female voices in Nigeria’s civic landscape.

Suleiman described platforms like Miss Naija as a beacon of excellence capable of showcasing the unstoppable spirit of modern Nigerian women.

She said she spent years working toward the milestone, treating the competition as the culmination of a decade-long effort to bring regional and social issues to a national stage.
