Days after Tamunosoye Karibi George was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026 at a star-studded finale at the Balmoral Hall of the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Miss Cosmo Nigeria 2025 Tofunmi Adekola has penned a stirring message of sisterly advice and encouragement for the new queen.
In a reflective social media post on Tuesday, Adekola, who witnessed the June 6 coronation firsthand, described the night as “a room full of dreams, elegance, culture, and purpose.” She extended congratulations not just to the winner, but to every delegate who dared to compete.
“Attending The Miss World Nigeria 2026 Coronation Night was one of those experiences that reminds me how powerful it is when young women dare to dream beyond themselves,” Adekola wrote. “Congratulations to the new Queen Tamunosoye Karibi George (@soye_kg) and to every young lady who dared to dream.”
The reigning Miss Cosmo Nigeria then shifted to words of guidance, urging Karibi-George to look beyond the glitter of her new title. “As the applause fades and the real work begins, remember that your greatest impact will come not from wearing the crown, but from what you do with it,” she stated. “Stay authentic, stay grounded, and never underestimate the influence of your voice.”

Adekola closed with a prayer for a reign filled with purpose, growth, and unforgettable moments. Tamunosoye, representing Bayelsa, won the national title and is now preparing to represent Nigeria at the Miss World Festival in Vietnam later this year.
The exchange between the two queens highlights a growing culture of mentorship and solidarity within Nigeria’s pageant community.
