Megan Thee Stallion was transported to a local hospital Tuesday night after falling ill during her performance in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway.
The show stopped shortly after opening scenes as the 31-year-old entertainer began feeling unwell. Her hairstylist, Kellon Deryck, posted on social media: “Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital 🙏.”
A representative confirmed the incident, stating, “During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated. We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.”
According to audience members, the production paused mid-show, with staff asking attendees to remain seated while the situation was assessed.
Megan made her Broadway debut last week as Zidler in the Tony Award-winning musical. The rapper, known for hits like “Savage” and “WAP,” had been performing to sold-out crowds at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Well wishes have poured in from fans and fellow artists.
