Jamaican dancehall superstar Shenseea has arrived in Nigeria, joining the city’s star-studded “Detty December” festivities.
The Grammy-nominated artist’s presence marks her first major visit to the country, solidifying Lagos as a premier global cultural hub for the 2025 holiday season.
The “Hit & Run” singer sparked a social media frenzy upon arrival with a viral video in which she attempted to speak in Nigerian Pidgin. In the playful clip, Shenseea jokingly issued a “wish list” to her fans, requesting “gold, frankincense, and a rich man” to host her during her stay.
Shenseea is set to deliver a high-profile performance at Koko Beach, Lagos, for the Blue 42 Day Party on December 30, 2025.
This visit follows a monumental year in which she dominated the 2025 Caribbean Music Awards, winning five trophies, including Female Dancehall Artist of the Year.
