Lagos Sole Club (LSC) has publicly thanked Rugby School Nigeria for a pivotal partnership that brought the community-focused “Kids Move Day” to life.
In a social media statement, LSC highlighted the school’s crucial role, noting it provided more than just a venue but “a safe, world-class environment” that enabled the event’s vision.

Held at the prestigious school’s campus in Eko Atlantic City, “Kids Move Day” was designed to foster physical activity, learning, and social connection among children. The initiative underscores the growing trend of private institutions actively supporting grassroots community development and youth empowerment in Lagos.
The collaboration marks a natural alignment for both organisations. Lagos Sole Club is a prominent community organisation dedicated to promoting fitness and wellness across age groups. Rugby School Nigeria, the first African branch of the UK’s historic Rugby School, opened its doors in September 2025.
The school emphasises a “whole person” education, integrating robust sports and arts programs alongside academics, and has quickly become a local sports hub, recently hosting its inaugural Rugby School 7s Tournament.
This successful event demonstrates how strategic partnerships can create impactful, safe spaces for youth engagement, setting a positive precedent for future community initiatives in the city.
