Award‑winning Nigerian actress Kehinde Bankole has partnered with top‑charting podcast I Said What I Said (ISWIS) for Facebook’s 2026 global campaign, “Made by Africa, Loved by the World: Where stories spark community.”
Launched ahead of Africa Day (May 25), the campaign’s sixth annual instalment shifts focus to the global momentum of African cinema. It features a five‑part vodcast series profiling internationally recognised filmmakers and actors from Nigeria and South Africa.
Bankole’s episode, hosted by ISWIS duo Feyikemi “FK” Abudu and Jola “Jollz” Ayeye, explores her creative journey – from local breakout roles to global voice acting milestones – and how she uses the Meta Africa Facebook page to cultivate an international fanbase.
Full episodes will roll out across individual talent feeds and the ISWIS YouTube channel, with behind‑the‑scenes snippets on Facebook’s Instagram account.
Other featured Nigerian stars include Tobi Bakre (Gangs of Lagos) and two‑time AMVCA Best Actress winner Osas Ighodaro, alongside South Africa’s Nomzamo Mbatha and Linda Mtoba.
The campaign celebrates African storytelling’s rising global influence as the continent prepares to mark Africa Day.
