Lagos-based lifestyle influencer Chinyere “Chi” Adogu reimagined her signature event for 2025, transforming the sixth edition of her “Style Brunch with Chi” into an exclusive beach house dining experience.
Held at the private Libertine Lagos, this year’s “Beach Edition” shifted from large-scale gatherings to an intimate setting designed for “slow-paced connection and community” by the sea.
Chi, wearing a custom design by Nigerian label Onalaja, curated the event to celebrate the women who have supported the brunch since its 2018 inception.
Founded as a “collaboration over competition” initiative during Lagos’s busy “Detty December” season, the brunch series has become a notable fixture.
This year’s atmosphere, featuring catering by Tucker & Mor and drinks by Inverroche, prioritised thoughtful conversation over frantic socialising.
The event highlights a growing trend in Lagos’s festive calendar towards curated, meaningful experiences that foster genuine community alongside the city’s larger concerts and parties.
