Culinary queen and Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci brought smiles, solidarity, and service as she visited the
Lagos Food Bank Initiative (LFBI) for a special community outreach. Dressed in the organization’s signature pink volunteer tee, Hilda was greeted with cheers, flowers, and a wave of applause from excited staff and volunteers who celebrated her arrival with gratitude and admiration.
The visit wasn’t just ceremonial, Hilda rolled up her sleeves and immersed herself in a warehouse tour, exploring every section from the Fresh Vault Café to the Picture Wall, Cloth Bank Warehouse, and Impact Hub. She also participated in the giveaway of food boxes branded with her name, “Together with HILDA BACI: Recipe for Change,” aimed at supporting struggling households with staple food items and clothing.
Speaking directly to volunteers, Hilda delivered a heartfelt message: “Every act of service counts. Don’t give up on your dreams.” Her presence wasn’t just inspirational; it was a powerful reminder of what impact looks like in real time.
As living costs continue to rise, her commitment highlights the power of private citizens stepping up to address hunger and poverty. The Lagos Food Bank is calling on more Nigerians to join the mission.
