They say that at 50, you have the face you have earned. If that is true, then Toyin Olowo has earned a visage of joy and resilience.
Over the last weekend of 2025, the professional case manager marked her golden jubilee—a milestone often called “the youth of old age” or, more playfully, “five perfect 10s”—with a celebration that perfectly balanced spiritual gratitude with high-octane Nigerian festivity.
The festivities began on a solemn, powerful note. The celebration train first stopped at the CCC Holy Cross Redemption Parish 1V in Mount Laurel, Maryland. There, amidst the white garments and the scent of incense, Senior Prophet Adesola Odubowale offered a thunderous prayer for the celebrant, invoking divine protection and favour for the next half-century:
“We speak longevity, divine health, and overflowing joy into this new chapter,” he declared, laying a spiritual foundation for the weekend. “Toyin is a woman whose hands help others; today, we ask heaven to pour its blessings back into hers.”
It was a moment of deep spiritual grounding before the champagne corks would pop.
An Intimate Mansion Soirée
From Maryland, the party moved to Toyin’s elegant residence in New Jersey, where she hosted an intimate yet grand 50th birthday bash. The atmosphere was a masterclass in personalised luxury—a reflection of Toyin’s own style.

The menu was a nostalgic and delicious trip down memory lane, centred on the celebrant’s passions. It was a “foodie experience.” Guests were treated to the smoky, irresistible aroma of Nigerian Jollof, the earthy comfort of Amala and Ewedu, and the spicy kick of Pepper Soup. The drinks flowed as freely as the conversation, with premium champagnes and signature cocktails keeping spirits high.
A Toast to Resilience and Humour
Toyin’s husband, Muyi, stood as a pillar of support throughout the event, beaming with pride beside his wife. In a heartfelt tribute, he captured the essence of their journey: “Your strength has built this home, and your laughter fills it. Here’s to a lifetime more of this.”
Friends and family, including US-based businessman Oladimeji Bilewu, healthcare professional Deola Awogbamila, and soccer coach Quam Dickson-Olagun, added their voices to the chorus of praise.
Her husband’s best friend, Ade Ojo, shared an anecdote that had the room roaring with laughter, highlighting Toyin’s unique blend of resilience and charming forgetfulness. “Fifty years of Toyin is a gift to everyone who knows her,” Ojo said.

“Cheers to 50 Fabulous Years”
As the night culminated, glasses were raised high. The air was thick with love, music, and the promise of future adventures. “Please raise your glasses to 50 brilliant years behind us and 50 more even better ones ahead,” a guest toasted. “To Toyin! You make 50 look amazing. Half a century of awesomeness looks good on you.”
With NAIJA TV on the ground capturing every glittering moment, Mrs Toyin Olowo’s 50th birthday will be remembered as a vibrant celebration of a life well-lived—a testament to the fact that the best years are, indeed, yet to come.
