Enenimiete Mercy Suoyo has officially made history as the 25th Miss Earth Nigeria, capturing the crown at the silver jubilee edition of the prestigious beauty pageant.
Competing under the moniker Miss Primrose, Suoyo delivered a standout performance throughout the entire competition. She secured key preliminary milestones, including the Darling of the Press award and a Silver medal during the swimsuit segment.
But this victory is years in the making. Suoyo first competed in 2021, where she finished as first runner-up, earning the title of Miss Earth Nigeria – Air 2021. Rather than giving up, she returned for the Silver Jubilee edition as a massive fan favourite and dominated from start to finish.
The grand finale took place in Port Harcourt, where she was officially crowned. The first and second runners-up were Miss Lilac (Mma-Ette) and Miss Buttercup (Blessing Aremu).
Born in Bayelsa State, Suoyo is a graduate of Linguistics and Communication. Her advocacy is deeply personal—living in the Niger Delta shaped her platform, focusing on mangrove restoration and tackling plastic pollution through recycling and green jobs.
“Nigeria has a beautiful future and an even brighter one if we work together to preserve it,” she said.
Next stop: the Philippines. She will now represent Nigeria at Miss Earth 2026, taking her environmental campaigns to the global stage.
