The EliteGlam Pageant Organisation has released an emotional tribute to Oma Osele Iruomachukwu after she won the Miss Continental World 2026 crown in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
The statement, signed by the organisation’s team, celebrated the victory as the culmination of a difficult journey marked by hurdles and uncertainty.
“Dearest Osele Iruomachukwu, Oma, we are so emotional and incredibly proud of you!” the organisation wrote. “This journey was not an easy one. We faced hurdles, uncertainties, and moments that tested us, but we kept pushing, believing that all our efforts would be worth it. And today, here we are, celebrating you as the WINNER!”
The tribute acknowledged the trust Osele placed in the organisation and the sacrifices made along the way.
“Thank you for trusting us, giving this journey your all, and carrying Nigeria with so much pride. Seeing you emerge victorious makes every sacrifice and every challenge worth it,” the statement read.
“You didn’t just win a crown; you gave us a moment we will cherish for a lifetime. We are grateful to have been part of your story, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful outcome.”
The organisation closed with a celebratory message: “Congratulations, our queen! We did it, Oma, and we are so proud of you!”
EliteGlam Pageant is a Nigerian pageantry platform organised by Em’kay Oku Limited. It brands itself under the mission “Where Beauty Meets Purpose,” focusing on empowering voices, celebrating diversity, championing inclusivity and redefining beauty standards.
The platform hosts national contests to crown both kings and queens, sending delegates to international competitions under titles like Mr. & Miss Eliteglam Nigeria.
Its standout “Continental World Duo” — Queen Oma Osele and King Unwana Sambo — represented Nigeria at the 2026 Continental World finals. Osele won the Miss Continental World crown, while Sambo placed 3rd Runner-Up in the male category and won the King of Kings and Best National Attire awards.
Osele, a medical laboratory scientist and model, also won Queen of Africa and Best National Attire in the female category before her crowning.
The organisation’s statement reflects a broader pattern in Nigerian pageantry this year, where local platforms are producing delegates who are increasingly competitive on the global stage.
