Ekekwe Chikaodi arrived at his introduction like royalty. The Mister Fitness Supermodel Nigeria 2026 received his national sash at the LOALOA Vietnam Culture & Dining Show, and he did it dressed as an Igbo chief.
His outfit was all white—a modern agbada and isiagu-inspired tunic with textured fringe cascading down the front and sleeves. Underneath, a high-collared white shirt with subtle chest embroidery. Matching wide-leg trousers. Dark red loafers with white stitching.
Then the details that made it ceremonial. A deep red velvet fez cap—the Okpu Ozo—with a prominent red and Black odum feather standing upright on the side, signifying chieftaincy and honour. Multiple strands of traditional red coral aka beads layered around his neck, falling to mid-torso with a pendant at the end.
The look was clean, regal, and unmistakably Nigerian. All-white for purity and peace, set against the bold red of the cap and beads.
The ensemble was crafted by Ibibia George of Black Empire, a Port Harcourt-based bespoke designer specialising in luxury custom menswear and traditional African attire.
At 23, Chikaodi holds a degree in Criminology and works as a professional fashion model and emerging clothing designer. He was appointed by the Misters of Nigeria Pageant organisation under National Director Miss Sophia Eze, succeeding Credo Chiewenitem Ekpunobi, who finished 3rd runner-up.
He competes alongside Chidimma Uvere, who leads the Best Fitness Star preliminary voting. The event runs from September 10 to September 19.
