Edo governor’s daughter Eghogho becomes Barrister, joins Supremes Court as Solicitor

Eghogho Ekpebholo, daughter of Edo State Governor Monday Ekpebholo and one-half of the state’s beloved twin daughters, has officially joined the ranks of Nigeria’s legal professionals as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supremes Court of Nigeria.

Beaming with grace and confidence in a series of stunning portraits shared across her social platforms, Eghogho marked the proud milestone with a stirring declaration:

“Today I become a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. This isn’t just a title — it is the beginning of a lifelong journey of advocacy, justice, purpose and a commitment to something greater than myself.”

In her heartfelt message, she pledged to uphold fairness, give voice to the voiceless, and use the law as a tool for equity.

“As I step into the legal profession, I do so with humility, the determination to contribute meaningfully to a more just and equitable society, to champion the rights of the vulnerable and advocate for fairness in every sphere. By grace. For justice. With purpose.”

This achievement is just one chapter in a journey already marked by service. Months before her call to bar, Eghogho founded New Bridge Foundation, a humanitarian organization aimed at empowering vulnerable girls through access to education, leadership, and healing — a cause she says is “deeply personal and urgently necessary.”
