Miss International Nigeria 2026, Damilola Bolarinde, celebrated her 28th birthday yesterday not with a loud party, but with a quiet, elegant reflection on growth, grace, and God’s timing.
The beauty queen shared a breathtaking series of portraits alongside a deeply personal message that resonated with followers across social media.
“The Beauty of Becoming,” she titled the post. “Today, I celebrate more than another year of life. I celebrate growth. I celebrate grace. I celebrate becoming. The crowns, the milestones, and the opportunities are beautiful, but they are only evidence of a much deeper work that God has been doing within me all along.”
Bolarinde, who is preparing to represent Nigeria on the global stage, went on to express her heart for service. “As I step into this new chapter, my prayer is simple: may my life continue to reflect hope, purpose, and courage, reminding others that there is no timeline greater than God’s and no dream too far beyond His reach. Here is to becoming… and to everything He still has in store. Happy Birthday to me.”
The birthday look was nothing short of regal, brought to life by some of Nigeria’s finest creative hands.
Flawless soft-glam makeup was executed by Okemute Paul, the sought-after Lekki-based artist known for his bridal transformations. Her hair, a stunning lace installation, was styled by Ajol Hairline, the Lagos stylist famous for his signature “Lagos hairline” finishes.
The custom couture gown came from Ovem’s Fashion, the luxury bridal and celebrity label renowned for intricate tailoring. Statement accessories by Odogwu of Jewellery added the perfect crown-like touch.
Celebrity photographer Anthony Godwin captured every frame in vibrant editorial fashion, while Marv Hair Collection supplied the premium human hair that completed the polished look.
As Damilola steps into a new year and toward the Miss International stage, her birthday message was a testament to a woman who understands that the real work happens within—and that true becoming is a beautiful thing.
Happy Birthday, Queen.
