Nigeria just landed two seats at streaming’s biggest table. Carter Efe and Peller have both been nominated for Best International Streamer at The Streamer Awards 2026, organisers announced on October 16.
They’re up against a five-way global field: Indian streamer Ashswagin, Polish streamer Young Multi, and Cuban streamer StarYuukiii round out the category.
The recognition caps a monster year for Nigerian streaming. Both creators built massive followings through high-engagement content, and now they’re competing on the same ballot as some of the platform’s fastest-rising names worldwide.
Voting is already open and runs through October 31. Fans can head to thestreamerawards.com, sign in with a valid email, and select their pick in the Best International Streamer category. Winners are decided by a 70% public vote and 30% panellist metrics—so Nigerian numbers matter here.
The ceremony takes place Thursday, November 12, 2026, in Los Angeles. The red carpet kicks off at 2:30 PM PT, with the main show following at 3:00 PM PT. The entire event streams live globally on the official Streamer Awards Twitch and YouTube channels.
