The Grammy-nominated Nigerian pop sensation, Ayra Starr, has been added to the already stacked roster for Afro Plus Fest 2026, a U.S.-premier Afro-Caribbean music festival.

The three-day event, scheduled for September 4–6 at the Northwest Stadium Complex in Washington DC, just got even hotter with the “Rush” and “Commas” hitmaker joining the bill.

A Festival of Giants

Ayra Starr’s addition places her alongside an impressive array of Afrobeats royalty. The lineup now features heavyweights including Wizkid, Davido, Flavour, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, and Adekunle Gold—a who’s-who of the genre’s biggest names.

But the festival isn’t stopping at Afrobeats. Hip-hop fans will catch performances from Lil Baby, Latto, Chief Keef, and Sexyy Red, while dancehall and amapiano lovers can look forward to sets from Alkaline, DBN Gogo, TxC, Kelvin Momo, and Tyler ICU.

Ticket Alert

Passes for the festival are exclusively sold as 3-day packages, with no single-day options available. With Ayra Starr’s last-minute addition driving demand, organisers are warning that current ticket tiers are expected to sell out quickly.

For those looking to secure their spot, passes are available via The Afro Plus Festival Ticket Portal at current pricing while supplies last.
