Asake, Wizkid, Olamide to headline Afro Nation Portugal 2026

The world’s biggest celebration of Afrobeats and Black music is coming back stronger, and Nigeria is once again front and center. Afro Nation Portugal 2026 has officially announced its first wave of headliners, and Nigerian heavyweights are dominating the lineup.

Global Afrobeats giants Asake, Wizkid, and Olamide are set to light up the Lit Stage, bringing Lagos energy straight to the beaches of Portimão, The Algarve, from July 3rd to 5th, 2026. Joining them is hitmaker Young Jonn, whose sonic evolution has kept him at the heart of Nigeria’s vibrant soundscape.

For the first time, the festival will debut the Afrotronic Stage, a groundbreaking platform for new electronic music inspired by African rhythms. Organizers describe it as “the future of the culture, right on the beach.”

Other global stars confirmed include Tyla, Gunna (special guest), Mariah the Scientist, Niska, Awilo Longomba, Bien, Darkoo, Denden, and Djodje, alongside Amapiano kings Madumane and Focalistic with an all-star South African crew.
