Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Asake delivered a powerhouse headline performance on Saturday, July 4, 2026, electrifying the second day of Afro Nation Portugal at Praia da Rocha beach.
Arriving in the full bloom of his M$NEY era, Asake transformed the Lit Stage into a massive, shimmering mosh pit.
Known globally as “Mr Money,” the artist commanded the stage with his signature vibrant personality, delivering an extended set that kept tens of thousands of fans dancing continuously on the sand.
His performance was a seamless blend of high-tempo Fuji-fusion and soulful melodies, featuring a setlist packed with fan favourites including “Sungba,” “Terminator,” “Wa,” “Forgiveness,” “Fuji Vibes,” and “Jogodo”.
The Day 2 lineup was a star-studded affair, with Asake sharing the billing with Mariah the Scientist, Olamide, Wande Coal, Young Jonn, and Congolese music legend Awilo Longomba.
The three-day festival, running from July 3 to 5, features a formidable lineup of global heavyweights. Burna Boy opened the festival on Friday alongside Tyla, and Wizkid will close out the final night on Sunday.
