Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo has been laid to rest in a fashion that matches his lavish lifestyle. The Nigerian businessman and influencer, who tragically passed away following a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure in Thailand, was buried in a massive custom gold casket valued between $600,000 and $745,000 (roughly ₦986 million).

His Zimbabwean-born wife, fashion designer Danielle Simba Allen, orchestrated the extraordinarily opulent funeral. The service and subsequent burial took place in Kensington, London, where Ubiribo owned property.

The gold coffin has sparked widespread discussion online, with many questioning the excess in mourning. But the guest list was equally high-profile. Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido, a childhood friend of Ubiribo, attended and paid an emotional tribute. Socialite Cubana Chief Priest was also present to witness the send-off.

Ubiribo, 43, died in March following severe medical complications from a cosmetic procedure involving hyaluronic acid fillers during a trip to Bangkok. A UK coroner later ruled that the filler material entered his bloodstream, causing a fatal pulmonary embolism.

His funeral was held months later, but the memory of his life—and the controversy surrounding his death—continues to linger. Ubiribo’s story is one of luxury, tragedy, and unanswered questions.
