The chart, shared by Spotify, shows ‘Starrgirl’ entering just behind Phoebe Bridgers’ ‘Lost Weekend’ at No. 1, and ahead of Trippie Redd’s ‘NDA’ at No. 3, Jungle’s ‘Sunshine’ at No. 4 and Reezy’s ‘RAHEEM’ at No. 5. The Top 10 also includes projects from Nipsey Hussle & Bino Rideaux, benny blanco, Becky G, Kendo Kaponi and Dillom.
The No. 2 global debut confirms the massive anticipation around the album and marks one of the biggest international chart entries of her career so far, solidifying Ayra Starr’s status as one of Afrobeats’ leading global exports.
