Funke Akindele has unveiled her next Nollywood feature, The Four: No One Fights Alone, set to hit cinemas worldwide on December 11, 2026.
Her outfit produces the film, the Funke Akindele Network (FAAN TV), and distributes it through FilmOne Entertainment.
The story follows Esosa and three fiercely loyal women who band together to protect a young man they love, testing their courage, faith, and friendship along the way. The drama unfolds across two contrasting worlds — the traditional Odu Community and a fast-paced modern city — weaving in Nigerian fashion, music, language, and customs.
Akindele leads the cast as Labake, alongside Bisola Aiyeola (Todun), Chioma Chukwuka (Somto), and singer Waje as Esosa. They’re joined by Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe, Wunmi Toriola, Ronke Oshodi Oke, and Antar Laniyan. Afrobeats star Shoday makes his acting debut, alongside internet personalities and former Big Brother Naija housemates, including Samuel Banks.
The release marks Akindele’s fifth straight year commanding Nigeria’s December cinema window, following blockbusters like Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Battle on Buka Street, A Tribe Called Judah, and Behind The Scenes.
