The Certificate of Appointment, presented by Miss Aura International Org and signed by President Adnan Seker, grants Oranezi the honour and responsibility to select and guide Nigeria’s official representative to the international pageant.

The appointment marks a full-circle moment for Oranezi, who was crowned Miss Aura Nigeria 2024 and made history as the first Nigerian delegate to place in the Top 20 at Miss Aura International in Turkey.

Oranezi already serves as National Director for Miss Cosmo Nigeria and as Board Member and International Liaison Officer for the Exquisite Queen Nigeria World organisation.

Beyond pageantry, the Anambra-born, Jos-raised multi-hyphenate reinvented herself from a professional flight attendant—a career she pursued to conquer a fear of heights—into a humanitarian leader. In 2023, she founded the Joy Oranezi Hope Foundation, focused on poverty alleviation and Zero Hunger, earning the Michael Legend Humanitarian Excellence Award in 2024.

“From the soil where different stories… we stand tall, we make the choice… we carry pride, a purpose. We are born to lead,” she recently shared.

As National Director, Oranezi will lead the search, training, and international preparation for Nigeria’s next Miss Aura representative.
