Launched worldwide on December 5th, the ‘Mr Lulu’ boot is a monumental statement by Aina, reflecting his off-pitch identity and his profound connection to home.
The ‘Mr Lulu’ colourway—a nickname affectionately given to Aina by teammates and fans for his reliable, composed performance as a right-back—is the culmination of the player’s personal creative vision.
Aina personally designed the boot’s upper, which features hand-drawn, Nigeria-inspired artwork and a custom tongue. Every detail is rooted in Nigerian culture, creativity, and pride, transforming the boot into a portable canvas that carries the spirit of the nation onto the pitch.
In a move that champions sustainability, Aina used his own handwriting to detail the bio-based ingredients used in the boot’s construction.
