Nigeria’s global reputation received a powerful boost this week after Task Systems Limited, an indigenous tech firm and member of the Zinox Group, clinched the coveted Microsoft Best Partner Award at the Microsoft Ignite 2025 event in California, USA.

In a ceremony attended by thousands of global innovators, Task Systems emerged as one of only 42 winners from over 4,600 nominations submitted across 100 countries—a triumph that places Nigeria firmly on the world’s digital innovation map.

Receiving the award was Mrs. Gozy Ijogun, the under-35 Chief Executive Officer of Task Systems, whose leadership has propelled the company into a new era of excellence. Speaking after the announcement, she described the recognition as a celebration of Nigeria’s decade-long surge in indigenous innovation.
“It speaks to the creativity and resilience of Nigerians building the future of technology,” she said, extending gratitude to Nigeria’s government, multinationals, and local industry players.

The recognition arrives just weeks after her brother, Prince Nnamdi Ekeh, the Group CEO of Konga, received top digital leadership awards in London. Together, they form part of a new generation of Nigerian tech royalty—children of renowned digital pioneer Leo Stan Ekeh, whose legacy continues to shape Africa’s tech landscape.

Microsoft’s Global Channel VP, Nicole Dezen, underscored the significance of the win, noting that each nomination represented groundbreaking work across cloud, security, AI, and business transformation.
